Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long does it take to get a board?
A: When you place an order we enter into the system, generally within a few hours.  We ask that you anticipate 7 to 10 days for the order to ship, actual delivery will depend on freight company and location of delivery.


Q: Is the cost of shipping included in the price of the board?
A: No.  Shipping is the only portion of our bill that is generally collect.  After we enter your order into the system we will fax you a copy of the sales order and you will see the estimated shipping costs.  The freight company will expect payment when they arrive to deliver. If your company has an account with the freight company shown on the sales order please advise so that we may check other carriers.


Q: Can I email my order to American Panel.
A: At this time we ask that you use our fax line to send in your order.  We hope to provide e-mail ordering in the future.


Q: I live close enough to Grand Haven that I want to pick up my order, is this possible.
A: Certainly, we have many Michigan and Indiana customers that come to the facility to pick up their order.  Please let us know when you order that you'll be driving over.


Q: Do you sell directly to individuals that don't want to buy from a dealer.
A: No.  We sell only dealer direct.  Please visit our Dealer Map to find a dealer located near you.


Q: Can I order a custom size board?
A:Yes.  We have a minimum charge on custom boards.  Please contact us to receive pricing on the boards that you want us to custom build for you.
